[Price: $27.9k, Location: CA] This supercharged Lotus Elise is special: not only is it fully track prepped and boosted, but it has been modified to accommodate regular and tall drivers. With a helmet on, it’s difficult for regular / tall drivers to pass the “broomstick” test in smaller roadsters – not to mention limited leg space. This Elise has a custom roll bar and reversible pedal modifications to solve for that. And yeah, it’s supercharged and is incredibly well-sorted with cool extras like the twin bleeder caliper mod and a pivoting rear clam to make working on the engine (and showing it off) a breeze. $27,900 OBO. Amazing performance with ~$30,000 of upgrades. One owner — purchased new in October 2004, now has 44K miles on it. Topless roadster perfect for year-round canyon carving in California or turning great times on the track. Very reliable fun car. Fits drivers up to 6’5″ at least. Must sell: moving from 3-car garage to 1-car garage…
The seats are custom aluminum seats that provide great lateral support. I had them upholstered with a yellow “curvy road” pattern. There are 6-point belts for the driver and 5-point belts for the passenger.
