We love the stage 3 B5 cars, and can really appreciate such a beautifully clean example. The black exterior with sport alcantara interior looks stunning, and this thing will put down over 400whp. These 2.7 liter twin turbo V6’s sound incredible, this would make a great daily driver for an enthusiast. Check out more from the seller below, head over to Audizine here to see the ad.
Up for sale is my 2001.5 Audi S4. I purchased this car last summer from a good friend of mine. My friend purchased the car completely stock back in 2007 and had all modifications and maintenance performed at Chicago Performance and Tuning (http://gocpt.com). I owned an S4 previously but sold it when he mentioned to me about selling this car, as I knew how well it was maintained and modified. All modifications were performed at 80k miles (It currently has about 135k miles). The car was put on the dyno at CPT before modifications and produced 175whp. After modifications the car was put back on the same dyno and made 365whp on 93 octane, and almost 400whp on 100 octane. This car has been very well maintained and taken care of. It has not been launched, tracked, or abused in any way. It has served as an awesome daily driver for both me and the previous owner. I get an average of 24mpg, and have gotten as high as 29mpg (actually calculated) when I brought the car home from Chicago.
The car is in very nice shape overall, but it is not a show car. I recently had the hood and RS4 grill repainted due to stone chips. There are some stone chips on the front fenders, but nothing horrible. The front bumper however, does have a lot of stone chips, and the rear bumper has a few marks as well. There are also a few minor door dings from 13 years of use. Besides those issues, the exterior is in very nice condition. It has been kept very clean…clayed/buffed/waxed to keep the paint looking good. The interior is extremely clean as well. There is some bolster wear on the driver’s seat, but besides that it is in great condition. The alcantara is very clean and this is a smoke free car.
The only issue I have had with the car is that the throwout bearing came apart earlier this year after starting the car one morning. I removed the transmission and installed all new clutch related components: Southbend clutch, Fidanza friction surface for the lightweight flywheel, clutch fork, clutch arm intermediate piece, clutch release bearing guide sleeve, slave cylinder, and installed all new hardware where required.
The only issue with the car currently is that there is some drivetrain slop. If you are on the highway and let off the throttle, you can feel some slop. I do plan to put the car on the lift in the next week or two to see if I can identify the problem. I am thinking it may be the differential mount since the transmission mounts looked fine when I replaced the clutch and the motor mounts were replaced with RS4 units when the K04’s were installed. Besides that issue the car is amazing, it is extremely strong, and brakes and handles very well.

I absolutely love this car and will be sad to see it go. I have driven a wide variety of cars, and this is one of the best all around cars I have ever been in. I have recently gotten married and am currently building a house, so my priorities have changed a bit and I am just looking to purchase a more simple daily driver that doesn’t require the attention that a German car deserves.
Please contact me at TTZMatt@comcast.net or 570-916-4850 if interested about the car (Serious inquiries only please). I have a lot more pictures of the car including individual pictures of every body panel. The car is located in central Pennsylvania.
