2008 Galaxy Gray Cosworth Supercharged MX-5 with 79k miles
Tuned by Mike at Motoeast using Ecutek software with RACEROM (No Lift Shift, Rev Matched Downshifts, Launch Control, On-the-fly Map Switching). Car ran a 12.7 second quarter mile at over 109 mph in its current state of tune, on a 90 degree florida day. Currently running on 93 octane and 50/50 water/meth. Also have a tune for E85 that makes a few more ponies. The supercharger system has been upgraded with a larger heat exchanger that dramatically increases the intercooler’s efficiency. The supercharger currently has a 2.4 inch pulley that produces roughly 16psi. I also have 2.6, 2.8,3.1 and 3.4 pulleys, should you desire a different boost level. The clutch and flywheel combo is a comfortable to drive carbon/carbon setup from Goodwin Racing that not only puts down the power, but is also kind to your left leg. The car has a 6-Speed manual from a 2011 donor car. The center console houses twin aeroforce gauges that monitor all obd2 parameters (including boost). From the outside this car looks completely stock and is surprisingly quiet, a total sleeper. The car is driven daily and has been completely reliable. It has seen a few quarter mile runs, but no track time. I’m selling because I want to get back into autocrossing and don’t want to enter the arms race that is street mod. Please feel free to ask questions.
